COOKIES POLICY

WHAT COOKIES ARE

Cookies are information files that websites store on the Internet user's computer while browsing, in order to identify who has already visited the site previously. A cookie is therefore a simple fragment of text that is stored in the navigator user's device and which allows, therefore, to recognize the computer / mobile phone / tablet that connects to the Websites.

WHAT COOKIES ARE USED FOR

Cookies can have different functions: perform computer authentication, monitor sessions, store information on specific configurations regarding users who access the website, store preferences, facilitate the use of online content such as, for example, keep track of information for the filling in a computer form etc.

With reference to WHO INSTALLS cookies, it is necessary to distinguish:

  • First-party cookies are those that are saved directly from the website you visit: these record information such as the number of sessions or page views.
  • Third-party cookies In this case, the user can also receive on his terminal the cookies created and sent by websites other than the one visited.

TYPES OF COOKIES

Technical or session cookies

These are cookies that are used to browse or provide a service requested by the user. They guarantee normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access restricted areas) ". They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the website owner. These cookies are deleted at the end of the "session" (hence the name) when the browser is closed. This type of Cookie avoids the use of other IT techniques that are potentially prejudicial to the privacy of users' browsing.

Analytics cookies: similar to technical cookies when used directly by the site manager to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site.

Function cookies
they are useful cookies to favor the effective use of the site by the user and thus favor the personalized browsing experience. They are used, for example, to keep track of the chosen language.

Profiling cookies
these cookies are intended to provide advertising spaces. They can be installed by the site owner or by third parties. Some are used to recognize individual advertisements and know which ones were selected and when. Other advertising cookies are used to hypothesize a browsing "profile" of the user, in order to be able to propose advertising messages in line with his behavior and interests in the network. This "profile" is anonymous and the information collected through these cookies does not allow to trace the user's identity. In this case the cookie presides over one of the systems to drive the so-called "behavioral advertising".

CHECK AND DELETE COOKIES

If the user wishes to change the way in which the browser uses cookies, or to block or delete cookies from this site (or any other site), it is possible to do so by changing the browser settings. In order to monitor cookies, most browsers allow the user to accept or reject them all, accept only some types or will ask each time if you want to save a cookie of a particular site. It is just as easy to delete cookies that have already been saved by the browser on the device. The process for checking and deleting cookies varies depending on the browser used. To find out how to do it with a particular browser, you can use the "Help" function in the menu of your browser. To limit the receipt of cookies through the browser, you can visit the following sites to understand how to prevent your device from receiving cookies (depending on the browser you use):
